Clare Housing Names Zach Petroski new Senior Accountant — November 7, 2022

Clare Housing has recently had the good fortune of hiring Zach Petroski (he/him) as the new Senior Accountant. He brings a wealth of experience and we are delighted to have him on the team. Here’s a bit more about him.

Can you tell us what initially attracted you to working with Clare Housing?

I have been a long-time volunteer at other affordable housing providers and have always been interested in being a part of the important work that affordable and supportive housing organizations provide. I have heard great things about Clare Housing, and I am thrilled to join the team!

Tell us a bit about your work history and how you expect this experience to inform your NEW role.

I was a corporate tax consultant for the past eight years and have also been an accounting consultant for a few small businesses. I look forward to using my experience to help Clare standardize and improve accounting processes so that all members of the team can have the tools necessary to do what they do best for the organization.

What personal values are you looking forward to bringing to this new role?

I enjoy collaborating with people who have working styles, objective, and different levels of knowledge of accounting/finance concepts. I also consider myself community-oriented and am excited to be a part of an organization with such an inspiring mission.  

Tell us a fun or surprising fact about you, or about what you like to do in your free time!

I enjoy all things outdoors. My partner and I have a place in Grand Marais and love spending as much time as we can on the North Shore.
