Jon Heilig hired as Operations Coordinator — August 29, 2022

Jon has been a cheerful addition to the administration team! Let’s get to know him.

Can you tell us what initially attracted you to working with Clare Housing?

I have worked in the local non-profit industry for the past two decades and had heard many great things about Clare Housing and the support they provide to those individuals who are underserved.

Tell us a bit about your history with Clare Housing and how you expect this experience to inform your NEW role.

My previous experience has included mental health support, homeless outreach, human resources, event planning, fundraising, and direct client service. This vast experience will help me navigate my new role as operations coordinator at Clare Housing.

What personal values are you looking forward to bringing to this new role?

Being a great listener! I’m very much a people person and believe in bringing positivity and respect into my role. I am very detailed orientated and enjoy bringing a fresh perspective into all areas of my job.

Tell us a fun or surprising fact about you, or about what you like to do in your free time!

I am a proud father to three beautiful adult children. I love the outdoors and enjoy fishing when I can. I love to be disappointed and that’s why I am a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan!
