In Memory of Nancy Lee — July 1, 2019

It is with heartfelt sadness we share with the Clare Housing community the passing our former Board member Nancy Lee. Nancy was a quiet force on the Clare Housing Board of Directors from 2008 – 2013. Having served as Board Treasurer and later President, she was a thoughtful passionate leader that always kept Clare Housing, the people we serve and the HIV community at the core of our work.

It was six years ago in May that she called me and offered me the job of Executive Director of Clare Housing. As chairperson of the Search Committee in 2013, she led the board through a major leadership transition to secure the future of Clare Housing.

I will miss Nancy. She was a mentor, a colleague and friend. She gave so much and worked to make the world a better place. Rest in peace my friend.
