Michele Boyer named first Clare Housing Hero — September 30, 2019

We are proud to announce that Michele Boyer, our director of supportive housing, is our first-ever Clare Housing Hero! Michele was awarded the honor on Wednesday at our Luncheon.

If you haven’t met Michele personally, you may remember her from February, when she strapped on her snowshoes to check in on residents of one of our Care Homes when a staff member wasn’t able to make it in due to the storm. That same spirit of service runs through Michele’s 27-year career, over two decades of which she has spent with us at Clare Housing.

During her acceptance speech, she described herself at 25 when she first started in the HIV service world as a grass-rootsy social justice kind of kid. We’re happy to report that she’s still that kid, and that she is still full of hope and tirelessly advocating for our residents here each and every day.
