Olivia Mackert named new Operations Manager —

Having a good Operations Manager keeps an organization running smoothly! We couldn’t be happier to announce that Olivia Mackert has accepted the position, and hit the ground running. Let’s learn a bit more about Olivia.

Can you tell us what initially attracted you to working with Clare Housing?

I have partnered with Clare for four years now. I have really appreciated Clare’s culture of caring and dedication – seeing staff regularly go the extra mile to advocate for their clients and ensure they are receiving the care and respect that they deserve. When I decided to move on from my last position, I was so excited there was an opportunity for me to to join as a true Clare team member.

Tell us a bit about your work history and how you expect this experience to inform your NEW role.

I previously worked for Project for Pride in Living as the Property Manager for Clare’s apartment buildings. As a former property manager, I am used to wearing multiple hats and juggling several tasks at once; something I expect will benefit me as Operations Manager. I am also familiar with the day-to-day operations of the organization and know that my historical knowledge of the agency will come in handy in my new role.

What personal values are you looking forward to bringing to this new role?

Equity and inclusion are important to me. We serve a diverse population of clients – diverse in race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. – and I am excited to build on these values in the administration office.

Tell us a fun or surprising fact about you, or about what you like to do in your free time!

I am a book worm! I love setting up my hammock near Lake of the Isles and reading for hours. I’ve read 19 books so far this year.

Welcome, Olivia! We’re glad you’re a part of the team!
