Meet Amrita Naimpally

Amrita Naimpally (she/hers) is the Director of Business Consulting, Healthcare and Life Sciences at Salesforce, and the 2023 Clare Housing Board Vice President.  She brings passion, excitement and a wealth of business experience to her work on the board.

Can you talk about what interested you in serving on Clare Housing’s board of directors?

I attended the annual fundraiser in 2019 along with Board Member Jodi Pritchard and was blown away by the vision & mission and the team’s commitment to delivering it.

What about your professional background helps inform your work on the board?

My professional background is at the intersection of business and healthcare. While Clare Housing has a very strong vision and mission and the team is focused on delivering equitable housing and healthcare, its important to have a strong strategic plan in place to create awareness around the organization, increase membership and overall footprint and impact.

What lasting lesson have you learned from working with Clare?

Clare Housing has a very dedicated and hardworking team – having a common mission fueled by altruism and empathy is key.

Is there a big difference between being a member and being an officer?  Why?

Whether a member or an officer, its important that we carry similar responsibilities to deliver on the mission.

What does “success” mean to you in terms of your work on the board?

“Success” to me is creating meaningful impact in the community, while adapting to an ever changing landscape and increasing infection numbers. Internally within the organization, success is creating a safe employee experience enabling our teams to deliver the right outcomes.

What do you hope to accomplish in your term with the board?

Working with the team to grow our digital footprint to create awareness, increase membership and deliver strong impact in the communities we support.
