Michele Boyer Interviewed on Fox 9 About Her Snowshoe into Work — February 25, 2019

If you ever doubted how devoted, and awesome our program staff members are, check out the video interview that aired on Fox 9! After the snow storm last week our program director Michele Boyer strapped on her snowshoes to go visit Grace House II. Reporter Courtney Godfrey spoke with her about it.

As Michele says in the video, “It’s important for us to show up every single day, every single shift for our clients … If we don’t get there, those services simply aren’t delivered, and that would be unacceptable to us.”

Michele got the word early Wednesday that there was an unfilled shift, and the Care Home needed coverage that afternoon, so she hiked over. By the time she arrived, another staff member AnnaLeigh Smith had already stepped in! She took the opportunity to trek over to Damiano House, another Care Home, to see how they were doing.
