Sonjia Baker now a Healthcare Liaison — March 14, 2023

Sonjia Baker (she/her) joined Clare Housing Midtown as a Resident Assistant in 2022, and now has been promoted to Healthcare Liaison. Her hiring manager, McCormick Gustafson said, “Sonjia has been an excellent addition to our Clare Housing team. She quickly mastered the Resident Assistant role.” 

Let’s learn a little more about Sonjia!

Can you tell us what initially attracted you to working with Clare?

I heard about this position from my aunt who works for Clare Housing, and she told me it would be a good fit for me.

Tell us a bit about your work history and how you expect this experience to inform your NEW role.

I have been a medical assistant for over 15 years working at various clinics and hospitals. I worked in everything from cancer centers to children’s medicine, to being in the lab.

What personal values are you looking forward to bringing to this new role?

The personal values I plan to bring with me are caring for people like they are my own family.

Tell us a fun or surprising fact about you, or about what you like to do in your free time!

In my free time I’m cooking or just out having fun with my kids and traveling.
