Welcome to Lauren Knight, Supportive Housing Case Manager! — December 9, 2022

Clare Housing has brought on a Supportive Housing Case manager to support the residents at Clare Terrace & Marshall Flats. Lauren Knight (she/her) comes to Clare knowing more than the average new hire, having worked with a partner organization.

Can you tell us what initially attracted you to working with Clare Housing?

I’ve had a positive experience working as a contractor for Clare Housing. I enjoyed working with the teams at Clare Terrace and Marshall Flats.

Tell us a bit about your work history and how you expect this experience to inform your NEW role.

I previously worked as the assistant property manager for Clare Housing through PPL. Over the past year or so I have been able to build relationships and learn from our residents. Coming from property management, I am able to navigate the housing application process and alternative options for residents. I have knowledge and experience working with multiple agencies throughout the Twin Cities and am able to provide many resources to assist our residents with meeting their personal and housing goals.

What personal values are you looking forward to bringing to this new role?

I have a strong work ethic and an optimistic outlook on life. I look at the positive and embrace challenges that arise.

Tell us a fun or surprising fact about you, or about what you like to do in your free time!

A fun fact; I have served as a heavy artillery mechanic in the army for 8 yrs. In my free time, I love spending it with my family and being out in nature.
