Our Homes and Apartments

Clare Housing provides affordable housing, supportive services and compassionate care to people living with HIV/AIDS.

Clare Housing provides compassionate care to people who are no longer able to live safely on their own at six homes in the Twin Cities: Clare House in Saint Paul; and Agape Home, Agape Dos, Damiano House, Grace House I and Grace House II in Minneapolis. These residences provide twenty-four hour care. Our six adult foster care homes each house four residents for a total of 24 people at one time, and provide the following levels of care:

  • Stabilization for those who need time to regain strength, learn daily living skills and assistance with medication management.
  • Full time assisted care for those who are no longer able to live independently or safely in the community due to physical or mental impairment.
  • End of life care for those who need a comfortable and supportive atmosphere in which to spend their final time.

Clare Housing also operates Clare Apartments, an ADA accessible, 32-unit building with supportive services and home care. At Clare Apartments with the provision of affordable housing, coupled with supportive services, residents are in a place - many for the first time in their lives - to begin to learn life skills necessary in securing employment, maintaining housing, and increasing their economic opportunities. The building is located in northeast Minneapolis.
